ICWiP 2008 – Plin de surprize :)

Once upon a time there was the 2008 ICWiP, where knights and princes from all over the world came to a great feast, that went on for 10 whole days. There were trials and adventures, there was romance, there were battles between Heaven and Hell, but everyone lived happily ever after.

Creamfields 2008 – WoW!

One of the coolest trance festivals in Europe is coming to Romania: Creamfields Festival! I don’t know where to start to tell about how great it’s going to be. 😀 I’m so excited to go that I can barely wait for the 2nd of August! The line-up is…incredible! I mean, just put David Guetta, Ferry Corsten, David Morales and Marcus Schulz in the same area and you get a music bomb! Although I’m surely going to be dead tired after ICWiP, I don’t care. I am going and I’m gonna dance my ass off there to compensate for the fact that I couldn’t enjoy all of Armin’s concert. For more detalis, go to the festival’s website and you’ll find all the necessary details and maybe I’ll see you there! It’s worh every penny (the ticket is somewhat expensive) and, moreover, it’s the guarantee that there won’t be any idiots around, like the ones attending other festivals (we know which one…).

This is just a small taste of what Creamfields is about:

So, I haven’t written in a while, but I think I’ve made up for it today. 🙂 And, between us, the British always make good stuff! That’s why I love them. 🙂

ICWiP 2008

When I met with my friends to go to the Armin van Buuren concert, I had no intention of going to Pecs again, but they are just so persuasive! 🙂 And I’m glad they are! 😀 This year, the International Cultural Week in Pecs will be amazing! I can’t wait to be there! Last year’s edition was amazing: 10 days of non stop fun, but also interesting workshops, making lots and lots of friends and seeing beautiful places in Hungary! This year will be even better, because we know our way round town and we will be driving there. So no more train and we will get there faster. Plus, some of us already know each other and it’s going to be amazing fun there. We’ll also visit Zagreb, which I can’t wait to do! 😀 So between the 17th and 29th/30th of July I won’t be around, but I promise I’ll come back with great stories to tell. 😉 I strongly encourage anyone I know to go to such events, because it’s agreat opportunity to learn and enjoy yourself at the same time, not to mention the traveling, the bonding and the discovering of great places and people. I, for one, plan to make the best of this and attend the most summer/spring schools I can next year, because they give you experience and although they dry you of energy (thank God for Redbull!), they’ll leave you with some great memories!

Sweet dreams..:)

Oh yes, this was a wonderful night: I finally managed to get some good sleep and I even had the most wonderful dream! I dream of ATB! 😀 We were walking together in Bucharest, after one of his shows, and he came to my place and then we left for a trip. We went skiing. :)) And I was pretty good at it! That makes 2 things in my dream that will nearly never happen: me walking with ATB and being a good skier. :)) He was so adorable…and I woke up with biggest smile on my face. 🙂 Judgind by his music, ATB is a dreamy man. I bet his wife feels very lucky to have him by her side…

Choosing a religion

The past days I stumbled across one of the idiotic things I’ve ever come across the Internet. It was this:

Oh, mighy Internet, bless us with your unending wisdom and give us the solution to our existential problems! This is too much to take…I mean, for heaven’s sake, do we really need to be told everything? We get advice on how to eat, how to dress, how to have sex even, but have some of us really come up to the state when they aren’t capable of deciding for themselves concerning such a personal matter? Apparently, yes… It makes me sad to see this happen, but I guess there’s nothing we can do, but accept that all this religious mumbo-jambo is going to go on for a while. What do they do there: do they give you a test and if you have over under 50 points you should be Orthodox, between 50-100 you should be Catholic and over 100 you should be Islamic? It seems to me just soooooo stupid…

Just the other night, I was having a very interesting conversation with my friends (I missed talking to them like that) and we were trying to figure out in what degree is religion necessary. That led me to the conclusion that it’s necessary to the extent to which humans are still incapable of self-control and still need a point of refference, a gridline to measure their actions and try to separate right from wrong. Apart from all the religion talk, I really needed to reopen some doors of my mind. I’ve been so caught up lately that I’ve neglected my spiritual side (and I’m reffering to religion here) and I really nedeed to rekindle my interest for certain things. Once the doors opened, a lot of thoughts came rushing in…thoughts I’ve missed and thoughts I know will take me far.
