Ce a fost mai greu a trecut

Astazi m-am trezit cu un mare nod in gat. Si am incercat sa mananc si n-am reusit. Apoi m-am urcat in autobuz si imi venea sa dau branci masinilor de la Razoare sa se miste mai repede. Intr-un final, s-au miscat si am ajuns la facultate. Ne-am asezat in banci de parca ar fi fost prima data, dar cu emotii insutite.

Am primit foile…si apoi am primit si subiectele. Abia mai respiram. Si am inceput sa scriem si sa ne incingem creierul. Si am scris si am scris si cand n-am mai putut, am mai scris inca putin. In total 4 ore.

Pot sa spun cu mana pe inima ca examenul de licenta a fost cel mai greu pe care l-am dat vreodata si probabil cel mai greu pe care il voi da vreodata (desi n-as baga mana in foc pentru asta, ca cine stie ce mai vine peste mine). Patru subiecte, 2 materii, 3 ani de studiu, toate laolalta. Oricum, eu si colegele mele de suferinta am iesit de acolo zburlite si traumatizate. Oboseala maxima s-a corelat cu stresul si presiunea timpului, ceea ce a facut sa-mi mai scape cate ceva. Per total, sa zicem ca a fost ok.

Vineri vin rezultatele…sa vedeti atunci emotii….

The final Prison Break

prison-break-the-final-breakWow….I can’t believe it’s over. 🙁 I’ve been watching Prison Break since I started going to the University and it’s been 3 years now. I just can’t believe I just saw the last episode. I know this might sound cheesy, but it was incredibly sad. It’s just unbelievable that Michael dies in the end. I guess there is never a happy ending. You can’t have everything.

Beyond the stories in this series, I always appreciated Prison Break as a metaphor of life: full of constant obstacles, challenging, hard. Still, we find in ourselves the power to overcome these obstacles and move forward, even in the hardest periods. Along the way, you lose some friends, you win some, you find love, you lose it and find it again. Life keeps on bringing surprises around the corner and you’re never sure what you’re going to get, but still you take the chance of finding out.

In the end, it’s about the chances you took and if you made the most out of them. And there can never be a trully happy ending. Because life is just like us, imperfect, faulty. Still, we should try to make the most of it.

Honestly, I found Prison Break inspiring and it was one of my favourite series ever. The actor were amazing and, for 3 years, they were a part of my life. Still, there is the sadness of an ending.

Angels and Demons – a matter of taste

It’s been a while since I last wrote a post in English and, to be honest, I miss it. The new Tom Hanks movie, Angels and Demons, was the perfect opportunity. I saw it last night and I’m not affraid to say that I like it. A lot. I would like to say from the very beginning that this movie, like The Da Vinci Code, is a matter of taste. A matter of chosing to see it as pure fiction or as a possible version of reality, which is, anyway, a multifaceted construct.

The reason I like Dan Brown’s books and the movies realized after them is the mixture of symbolism, esoterism and treasure hunt. It appeals to the playfull nature hidden inside us all. I am inclined towards mystery and the contestation of the wolrdly rules of the Church (no matter which), so I was quite caught up in the action. Of course some facts are obviously fictive, but still, they make a pretty good motion picture. Also, this part really suits Tom Hanks and Ewan McGregor did a very good job with his.

I especially liked how they managed to build San Pietro square. It looked more real than virtual.

It is a movie I recommend, because it questions the established facts of reality. I have always admired this quality in every thing and person who posses it. Never stop asking “why?” – that, for me, is the basis of knowledge itself.

Afara inca e furtuna, eu ma racoresc cu aerul conditionat fiindca e zapuseala, dar am vazut cel mai frumos curcubeu din viata mea! Si apoi a mai aparut unul!

cablesIeri a fost binecuvantata zi in care am scapat de modemul de la Vodafone.

Sa va povestesc…Acum vreo luna si ceva, a mea mama s-a gandit ca are nevoie de internet mobil, asa ca a taiat netul de acasa (de la Focsani adica) si si-a luat modem de a Vodafone. Toate bune si frumoase, 10 euro/luna, in fine. Asta pana am ajuns eu acasa si am vazut ca merge ca un melc cu handicap. Buuuun, nu m-am agitat prea tare, fiindca, oricum, ea il folosea rar, asa ca mi-am vazut de treaba.

Asta pana cand m-am mutat in Drumul Taberei, la Orizont si n-aveam net. Recunosc, mi-a fost de ajutor modemul, fiindca eram pana peste cap cu licenta si nu stiu ce as fi facut fara. Dar, in afara de mail si site-uri, care si asa mergeau chinuite, modemul nu e bun de nimic. Cu toate ca am semnal full pe 3G, se misca ingrozitor de prost si nu merita nici macar 10 lei/luna, cu atat mai putin 10 euro. E o jecmaneala curata si nu va sfatuiesc sa va aruncati banii pe asa ceva. Desi am facut numeroase reclamatii, Vodafone se face ca ploua, iar contractul ramane in picioare: 260 de euro ca sa reziliam contractul. Iar unul dintre incompetentii care lucreaza la Serviciul cu clientii ne-a zis ca ei garanteaza acoperire doar in zona pentru care l-am cumparat. ?!?!?!?! Alooooo, neneeeee, e MOBIL! Stiu ca e greu de inteles, dar tocmai asta e ratiunea lui de a exista.

In fine, sa trecem peste frustrarile mele legate de net, fiindca ele si-au gasit ieri rezolvarea. Pe drumul de intoarcere de la Dr. Tr. Severin, un prieten mi-a zis ca a stat si el in Drumul Taberei si avea net de la Mitnet, o companie care a reusit sa isi pastreze pozitia fata de “granzii” internetului bucurestean, si anume RDS, Astral si Clicknet. Ieri pe la 1 am zis sa-i sun si sa vad care e treaba. Mi s-a parut ok si pretul, 40 ron/luna si au zis ca revin cu un telefon pentru programarea instalarii. Spre marea mea uimite, telefonul a venit pe la ora 5 dupa-amiaza, iar la 6 si ceva a venit baiatul pentru instalare. :O Inca sunt uimita ca mai exista proptitudine si amabilitate. Totul s-a rezolvat in jumatate de zi. Asta dupa ce fusesem la RDS si mi-au zis ca nu e cablat blocul si trebuie sa strang 50%+1 semnaturi de la vecini. Hah. Ce gluma.

Acum am net care merge lejer, trag cu 3M si ceva de pe DC si inca nu-mi vine sa cred ca s-a rezolvat atat de repede. Am citit si pe forumuri despre Mitnet si am gasit doar vobe de lauda, la care se vor adauga ale mele.  Bravo lor ca stiu sa-si respecte clientii!
