Venice through the eyes of a traveler is always amazing.

It’s magical, resplendent.

It leaves you breathless.

It makes you shiver and you can’t help but stare at the wonders of the city on the water.

A thousand years have passed and it’s only more beautiful and it shines and makes people smile in wonder.

San Marco is simply amazing. A huge surface covered in mosaic and gold. I can’t even begin to imagine the patience it took to build and decorate.

The pidgeons make some people smile. To me, they’re profoundly annoying. I don’t play well with birds.

Venice is a place for carnivals and colors.

Venice has handsome gondoliers who can slip you into a romantic trance.

The city on the water has bands playing classical music in Piazza San Marco.

Italy has food that tastes even better than it looks.

And everything about Venice makes you want to dream yourself away.
